- Program against Gender-Based Violence

The Program against Gender Based Violence was started in January 2006. It is intended especially for the women and children who experience violence regarding sex and gender; however, men have a large component in the program. It supports suffering women and helps them collect information to be able to put the event together.
- Objectives:
- To help the people who are abused by providing housing and nutrition
- To give counseling to them
- To decrease the discrimination on gender by giving trainings on gender equality among migrant workers
- To cooperate with human rights organizations, Thai Social Organization, and Legal Body and to supply the information to the women and children
- Activities
- Counseling for victims
- Assisting safe shelter and food if necessary
- Collecting data on gender based violence and documenting
- Organizing the discussion and talks on gender based violence
- Helping the abused person who wants to take legal action on his/her case
- Target
- Women, men, and children who experience gender based violence around the Mae Sod Area
